The aim of yoga practice( Sadhana) is to overcome all kinds of sufferings that lead to a sense of freedom in every walk of life with holistic health, happiness and harmony.
Here comes in the Bhagavad Gita verse,
“Yogah Karmasu Kaushalam”
योग: कर्मसुकौशलम्
which means efficiency in working is yoga.
“Skill in action is called yoga.”
This means that the same action, when it is done ordinarily, becomes the source of bondage; and when this action is done in the proper spirit, it purifies the mind and eventually destroys bondage. Thus it becomes yoga. For instance, work done with attachment leads to bondage; and when the same work is done with non-attachment, it becomes the cause of liberation. This attitude of attachment springs from yoga. Therefore, this very skill is called yoga.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?
Comfortable athletic wear, free of buttons, snaps, and zippers. The studio is co-ed so please dress accordingly. Baggy shorts should be avoided as we incorporate inversions and straddle stretches in our workouts. We require socks to be worn in our studios. Sticky bottom socks provide the best grip throughout a workout. If you do not own sticky socks, we have them for purchase at each studio location.

Som many classes! How do I know what’s what?
You will find descriptions of each of our classes by hovering over the class type on the schedule page. In a nutshell, our classes are limited to 10 or less, and you will always use the spring driven equipment. Expect a lot of hands on and personal attention.

Sanna Kapoor is a certified yoga and meditation teacher by MINISTRY OF AYUSH, Govt. of India and Yoga alliance USA. She is also Naturopath certified by Govt. of India and a certified reiki healer.

Through her expertise in healing and profound knowledge of human anatomy, yogasana and yogic philosophy. she effectively facilitates the healing of clients through her therapeutic yoga practices.

With a strong foundation and background in ballet and professional dance training & teaching, along with years of dedicated self yoga practice, she has developed extensive expertise over the past 10 years.

Being the founder of YOG-A-SANA, Ms Kapoor believes to heal everyone with yoga and reiki practices and has successfully healed people with both physical and mental ailments.
